We are organic
We adhere to the principles of organic farming with conviction, in the field and in the cellar. We are an organic farm certified by BioAgriCert. Organic farming is an agricultural method that aims to promote soil fertility with natural substances and processes and to cultivate while preserving biodiversity and the integrity of resources and landscapes.
In compliance with the relevant regulations, in the vineyard we use
- for defence: copper, sulphur, Neem oil, orange essential oil and rock powder;
- for fertilisation: cow mature manure.
We use renewable energy
Tenuta Vallone uses electric energy produced by a 19 Kw photovoltaic plant and thermal energy produced by a geothermal plant.
For the irrigation of the green areas (garden and vegetable garden), we use only rainwater specially collected in a capacious underground cistern.
We use 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly materials
For our packaging, we have chosen materials that are 100% recyclable and have a low environmental impact:
- cork stoppers from controlled reforestation Italian cork trees, 100% recyclable
- corn polymer caps certified 0% carbon footprint, 100% recyclable
- cardboard packaging without chemical bleaching agents, 100% recyclable
- pvc capsules, 100% recyclable
- glass, 100% recyclable
